For brands

Reach people while they're curious.

Circin audiences are actively exploring — science, technology, money, history, health. That attention is different from passive scrolling, and it's a different place for a brand to be.

How advertising works on Circin

Native and clearly labeled. Every paid placement carries a visible "Sponsored" label. No exceptions.

1SponsoredAbout this ad2

3 A sponsor’s name. A title and one line about what is on offer, in the sponsor’s own words.

4 A button out to the sponsor’s site
  1. The Sponsored labelThe same word on every age band, at the top of the card where it is seen first.
  2. About this adOpens why the card is there, a way to hide it and a way to report it.
  3. Who it is fromThe sponsor’s name sits on the card itself, not behind a tap.
  4. The way outA notice that you are leaving Circin comes first. On the under-13 band a parent gate comes before that. Today there is nothing behind the button, and the app says so.
  5. An advertiserNothing has been sold, so outside the demo walkthrough the app picks no ad at all.
DrawnThe label is real code with nothing to put in it. This card is a drawing, not a screenshot, and the sponsor on it is a placeholder: no ad has ever been served.

Contextual, by design. Circin is organised by Subject, so a placement sits next to the thing it belongs beside rather than following someone across the internet. To be plain about where this stands: nothing has been sold, no ad has been served, and the only targeting the app can do today is by age band. Subject-level placement is what we are building it into — talk to us early and help shape it.

What happens at a placement slot today, and what is not built By default a slot comes after every fifth video, six in one feed at most, with none in a new viewer's first eight videos and none straight after a Mental Health or Personal Finance video. Today no ad is shown because nothing was sold. If one is sold the only match the app has is by age band. Placing it beside one of the eight Subjects is not built yet. A SLOT IN THE FEED Every fifth video six in one feed at most TODAY No ad is shown nothing was sold IF ONE IS SOLD Matched by age only match built NOT BUILT YET Placed beside a Subject what Circin is building it into THE EIGHT SUBJECTS Cognitive Edge Math Science Language Arts History Technology Civics and Current Events Business & Economics
DrawnThe eight Subjects are real; placing anything beside them is not built. Today a slot in the feed passes with nothing in it, and the only match the app can make is by age band. There are no audience figures here because Circin has no audience to report.

Direct campaigns. Work directly with Circin on campaigns, with clear reporting and brand-safety controls.

No subscriptions on Circin. Watching is free and always will be; advertising is how the platform is meant to be supported. A share for creators is the intention and is not built — there is no revenue share today, and for-creators.html says the same thing rather than implying otherwise.
